Olive Wood Crosses


Handmade in Bethlehem, where families carry on the age old tradition of crafting religious items from native olive wood.

No olive trees are cut solely for their wood, but off-cuts from the annual pruning and trimming trees are used.

Olive trees provide local people with oil for cooking, olives for eating, and wood for making beautiful objects, 

The Cross has a small metal hoop on the back for hanging on a wall.
