Desert Embroidery works to bring gainful employment to Bedouinwomen in Lakia and its surroundings by preserving the folk art women learned from their mothers and grandmothers. Every purchase of their hand embroidery contributes to the personal empowerment of Bedouin women. Throughout the years their project has become a model in the Negev for handicraft employment.
Each bag is not only beautiful, but also unique; it is the only one of its kind. There is not another one in the world the same - an accessory to treasure always.
The bags are embroidered on one side and large enough to easily carry a purse and other day to day items.
